hi crew just wondering what would crew be willing to pay to use unlimited race boards with transport over a two week period in WA when all the big racers are on .

5 cases and I'll take 5 nights accommodation in the van in the garage.

ok sounds fair i will make sure ther are some red ones so you feel at home sticker up your brand no problem that keeps team riders happy we dont want another conner baxter Incident

stimo, are you going to get a fleet of them. a mix of the two current brands or just one brand

That's potentially a very good idea Stimo.
Transporting or procuring boards is the biggest hurdle for interstate or international travel to races.
Hence why I have a Bullet on Maui; it's such a weight off the mind knowing you have a good, competitive board to race on.
As for pricing, kinda hard to say; I guess it would have to work out as the same or less than the cost to get your board shipped over From your home state?
The guaranteed transport while in WA would be a good thing I'm certain for some crew.

It would have to work out around the same as the cost to ship/transport ur board plus share in hire car/truck for the time you are there "pay a little more for convenience" of having a board and wheels sorted on arrival that could be very inviting to interstate/os punters. Not just for unlimiteds
But any board

Stimo, for use of board in a race, and lift to and from the event. $200 to $ $250 per day I reckon. Maybe a discount for multiple days booked in advance.

thanks andy so guy are paying around 350 from goldie with the courier steve very safe no damage just with out there boards for up two 3 weeks so training can be hard crew who fly boards coast cargo aroun the same high Risk damage as we know

Just for interest we used Sadleirs Logistics to get our boards to WA. Cost from Adel to Perth(depot to depot) was around $135 & about $80-90 return. Sadleirs send freight by train & boards were top loaded with no issues, however there has been a derailment near Kalgoorlie & we may not see them come back for a week or so. They have depots in each state, may be worth trying to stitch up a national deal??? Just a thought.

Thats where i see the idea as smart as many punters only have the one board or the one 14 footer or unlimited. So sending that away two or three weeks before the event to transport does hinder ones ability to train up to the event.
A few 14's could be a good idea for when you guys host the nationals in 2016.

I think it's a great idea Stimo , regardless of racing WA has the potential to become the downwind Mecca. Molokai and Maliko Gulch are epic venues but getting a board there or hiring a board is so hard and expensive. With all the cheap flights now in Aus. I'd be more than happy to fly over and pay $150 a day with a minimum of a 3 day hire.

Props to you mate would love to see it happen.
