I've got one, they are a good board.
I'm probably your weight, but shorter and therefore fatter, and the amount of float is reassuring.
Funky underwater shape works well.
Would think at your weight, but not having paddled a Point Break, although I do have the 12' Search it is based on, the TC would suit you better unless you like standing ankle deep in water on the board.
My 46 kg wife has taken possesion of mine as her favoured board, and it suits her well too.
Construction and finish seem good.

Hi Kev. I just took out my TC 11'6" for the first time in Santa Cruz, CA. I'm 95 kg and the board floats me fine. I would talk to Tom's chat staff on their site. I'm GUESSING, but I think if you're just looking to paddle out and catch waves, this will have enough float. It's probably not ideal at your weight for long flat-water paddles. Talk to them.

I really like the board. I've had several elite downwind boards, but this is a fun "little" all arounder at a great price. Good luck. Stinky.

Always appreciate good service and sometimes it's up to freight companies.

A mate has this board and serves him well for sup surf which is his first surf sup and he has progressed on this board,
and flat water paddle in choppy water and he is similar size to you.
Only uses as single fin and has given me chance to ride it but I have slightly bigger board for flat water and my preference is shorter for waves which our local is generally small.
I definitely will try it this summer ???????

Remember, TC boards tend to be thinner than most boards of similar length, so have less float and less primary stability than other's of same length.
Also, very responsive on a wave face and stable in rougher water.
