Hi, I have a new SUP and have started to notice some depression marks on the rails of the board from some wild paddle strokes. Other than aesthetics, is this something I need to be overly worried about?

Was thinking of laying some clear and ultra sticky Gorilla tape down the length to protect to board. Thoughts?

Rail Tape is always the go in my opinion. I have fitted ION tape to my new board recently and it is great stuff. Some other types I have used in the past seem to not stick so well in the water which is just frustrating. Definitely protects the rails and no chips= no leaks.

Get some white nail polish and touch it up.. and put a quality rail tape on.
