has anyone tried both of these boards and can share and UNBIASED opinion of their performance . i'm worried that f18 being hollow and designed directly as hawiian bigger downwind runners, concerned about performance in qld mainly onshore winds thinking naish with less rocker in nose might be a better allrounder. open for all suggestions

OK i try and give my best unbiased opinion.

Both boards are very good F16 might have it on the Naish when it gets super windy but the Naish likes it up from about 15knots. Durability would go to Naish but the new V2 f16 that we are getting in soon might be just as tough. As a alrounder i would choose the Naish. A better comparison would be between the 17'6 bullet SIC and the Naish now they are both SIC boards as i'm sure Phil will tell us!!! One more thing both boards are very hard to get at the moment with the Naish being sold out and nearly all the next lot coming in are also sold and the SIC V2 coming in just before crissy is already selling fast. All in all both good boards but the Naish might just pip it for a alrounder.

Yes i have paddled both and yes i am Spono'ed of Naish but if i thought the other way i would say the SIC is better.

Also the new SIC boards coming in won't be hollow as far as i know.

Hi Guys, Peter from Instyle here. As there is a bit of a buzz going around about SIC, thought I would set the record straight..we are doing production boards out of Thailand, and will have 4 models available - the X12'6, X14, F16 version 2, and the new 17'4 bullet. All four models will be available in multiple colourways and construction types. Mark has been in Thailand for the last week finalising production, and all models will be available for our summer. As some of you would be aware, we have been demo'ing the boards up and down the east coast with a few of the clubs and different events. We have the new version 2 F16 here now also, which was demo'd at Noosa last weekend..will keep you posted...
