Hi guy n gals, first post and hopefully the start of many.

Just after some advice on bootie's for on the sup now it is starting to cool off. Never had deck grip before to know what works best on them. Have an allround board so surfing through to touring will be their uses.

Thanks

I have a pair that is pretty close to these:

www.xcelwetsuits.com/shop/product/mens-accessories/drylock-split-toe-3mm?color=BGR

I surf in Victoria so the water temp should be close.

Only downside - they take a while to dry (and you have to keep the neck of the boot open or they never dry). Also, sometimes they fill up with water - so I sit and drain them.

I usually use these:

They aren't as warm, but they dry and drain better.

Hope that helps - and welcome to Seabreeze.

Hi Chopsup, just wear booties which won't allow you foot roll inside so use the ones with toe and velcro strap as shown by cantSUPenough, the Xcell ones; I wear the old model for years they are best of all kind.
Don't wear Lacey's model except if you want to kick Cobra's butt with it
And welcome to the happy band

Thanks guy's, just been looking at those excel ones online and they seem to be very popular.

Just out of curiosity, are the sizings the same as shoes? Or do you need to go one size up or down?

Haha @cobra, are those the New Zealand booties waterproof?

On boot dryers, my solution: an used computer power supply fan, some wood, screws and aluminium (or PVC) tubes:

The tragedy of the year is they've stopped making the 5mm.
