Hi there,

Is there anywhere I can buy good quality white deck grip, for a 7-foot SUP. The reviews are mixed buying online so don't want to risk putting an inferior product on a new board,

thanks in advance, LG

Good question as yes much of the stuff u see on Ali or eBay etc is not genuine 3M, or stored too hot and its useless, thus getting dumped cheap.
Also moulded pattern is not as grippy as cut-in pattern

In Australia, definitely Surf Sail Australia in West Leederville.

But its not that easy to do a neat job around handle, vent etc so i will mention that i can

Maybe tell us where u r located?

You could contact Smik and ask them as their boards come with matching deck grip

Note that 3M makes different grades of glues.
There is a big difference in price between them, especially for large pads like the ones used on SUPs.
For instance, using the best 3M glue doubles the overall price of a pad compared to just going with the 2nd best 3M glue.

So:
- quality has a price
- you have more chance to have high quality glues on surf pads, as they are smaller, reducing the price increase.
FCS makes some very nice white hyper light surf pads (The T3 line).
I love the firewire surf pads, but they are not available in white.

Note that I mix surf pads for the best results: I am looking for lightness, grip and direct feel.
