Hi Jarryd. We have a group who often do from the end of the Mooloolaba spit in through the Maroocydore river mouth to finish by the Cottontree swimming pool or vice versa, organising a car pool.
Send me your details and hopefully the weather will cooperate and we can take you along. Alex headland is very busy with surfers, so just paddle down and you'll find other wave SUPpers between the Maroocydore Surfclub and river mouth. Great with a wave or race board there.
On a calm day paddle around Old Women island or in the bay, saw dolphins there Sunday morning. The best run of all on the Sunnie Coast is from Moffat's headland to Mooloolaba or even onto Alex.
Thursday night 5pm is our 4.3 km Lake Kawana time trial.
Hope to catch up.
