Hi Guys,

Where's the best place to try for wetsuits in Brisy. Can travel to the Sunshine Coast or Gold Coast, but prefer not to.

I know a lot of this comes down to personal preference and body shape/fit but any general recomendations for a decent wetsuit with a budget up to around $400

Wetsuit Warehouse in Wooloongabba has a big selection of brands & types - shorties, spring suits, steamers etc. as well as spear fishing suits & diving suits

Sideways surf outlet has old models really cheap. There's one in kawana on the sunny coast.

Do some research, we have a really great wetsuit shop in Sydney, I just got some amazing O'neill booties.
I was talking to the wetsuit guru and looks like the whole industry is made in the same factories.
IN QLD your only going to need a pair of wetsuit shorts and a long sleeve top surely. Cuts down the chaffing of a full connected wetsuit.

I thought you didn't need a wetsuit in Queensland

Ended up with a nice O'Neil Superfreak 3/2 chest zip steamer from the Wetsuit Warehouse in Wooloongabba. Easily the best fit and most comfortable of all the ones I tried on. Paid full retail ($399) but I don't mind paying decent money for comfort and fit as good as that.
