Low tide small swell Port Hacking. Fun "little" runners.

Had a great surf at Flinder on Sunday, but this morning was something else. It was well over my head and I am 6'3! I had my GoPro but it always makes waves look small. But on one wave I reached a max speed of 29 km/h so that gives you an idea.

It was pretty lumpy, and some of the waves closed out, but what an adredeline rush taking off on those bigger waves!

Some local Samoan crew rocked up with an acoustic guitar and started singing tunes in language - full Island Style.
There's something about traditional Polynesian music that just seems to work with the ocean - it's effortless, calming and cooling to listen to - and to hear it out on the water was another level of joy.

I reckon it's how the sea breeze would sound if you could play it on guitar and sing it.

Every now and then, the wind would catch the melody and it would drift across to me as I was paddling.
The tunes, the salty slap of the ocean against the board, there were Kites and an Osprey wheeling above - it all made for one of the greatest days on the water I've nearly ever had.
No waves, but the vibe was all time.
I came in a changed man and better for it.
SUP 4 LIFE!

yeah man great story ..nothing like a good paddle to clear the mind ..and with island music .

I have been paddeling at this gorgeous location in Slovenia, we went with a local company Bovec Paddleboarding
