Aggy main beach.
My youngest and I ventured out early, him on my minion, me on my Laguna Bay. Not much in the way of waves, but a beaut morning anyway.
We spied a pod of dolphins and headed out to say good morning.
My son cried out "Geez that's a big one!"
I said "If it has a triangle fin, head back in!"
I looked to my left just in time to see a whale break the surface. And not just one. Wow. I'd never seen one so close up, or so close to the beach. I was in awe.
We paddled alongside for about a kilometer before they looped back out to sea.
Right place, right time.
Priceless.
