Lumpy and bumpy at big left. No one else out most of the time (thus the helmet). OK, crappy surfing (I am useless going left and not much better going right), but it was fun.

Weather finally calmed down.
Half Moon Bay and north.

What board is that, please Nozza? Looks like a very surfable cruiser.

Surfed the Merimbula main beach this morning. Very big. Over head height when paddling in to them. Got pounded several times, every time paddling out. Got some awesome waves and fast too. On the rip curl gps watch clocked 26.8 kph. Biggest stuff I've ever been out in. Fun but hard work
No GoPro footage because son took the memory card out of the camera and left it at home
I should have check I suppose before leaving??

Tom Carroll Outer Reef 11'6" x 33".
Only had it a couple of weeks, and no real surf, but cruises nicely, and super stable.
Has easily caught what tiny waves I've had it in.
Loving it. Well finished if a touch heavy, and meant to be strong and durable.
Shape by Blane Chambers, large double concave forward transitioning to slight V in the tail, and tricky bevelled rails forward to hard rails in the tail.

Thanks Nozza. Great pics of a mighty fine looking board. I recognise that Tom Carroll swish, now that you mention his name.

Tracks very well, not a lot of glide, did 5k round trip on it to a point break that wasn't working last week, nice paddle, very reassuring in chop.

What a stunning morning of shred at Manly. Took the Atlantis Runway noserider out and it never ceases to amaze me. Super late and steep takeoffs - not an issue. Turns on a dime. Magic

Mullawarra - lowish tide - 6.45 am to 8 am -overhead - semi closeouts. 2great waves - 4 floggings and caught a very small mellow wave in - (between sets), went home feeling sore but very happy all the same.

Ventnor morning and afternoon.
To be honest, it was a bit cold, choppy, and crappy.

Cyclone Cook has come and gone.......but still delivering big grunty surf to makorori all weekend long.
More people than usual paddling out at makorori point in the dark....
Much more people than usual surfing at the point.....
Always a reality check if you make a wrong wave choice and get washed and bashed along the rocks through the impact zone

Another EPIC mornings shred session at Manly. It has been one of the best Easter's (4 solid days) weather and surf, for many a year.

A bit late for the afternoon paddle at Half Moon Bay.
Beers watching the sun set instead.

Nice big swell in Westernport this morning. Wind finally came up but was great until then. Just me and one other guy. My GoPro recorded time-lapse instead of video... D'oh!

On my 8'7 Acid 106L.

A couple of frames:

The Caves, very rough despite a very light wind but 6-8 ft swell made it worth the effort and got two really good waves

Dawn patrol at Perths most jam packed beach before the masses descended.

Scored a couple, pulled back on a few big straight ones, getting out only once a week is not doing me any favours atm! Felt like I was struggling balance wise..

But hey the water was warm and good to get the sand between the toes, jag a coffee then head to work. Was in a better mood than some people at work so that was a win.
