I am trying to keep surf fit during the flatness of the summer by spending more time on the Starboard GenR 14" x 27". I have also started to follow the ways of "The Rick" and I've cut out bread and other things from my diet about 8 weeks ago . I am losing weight quite quickly, I am feeling great, and I am taking all of this seriously now.
As part of VO2 max training I am doing 2km sprints. What is a good pace that I should be aiming for? My next goal is to average over 8 km/h.... is that good? Is that ok for a 45 year old that used to be fit about 20 years ago? I am curious if I am pushing myself hard enough.
