Just watching the Pipe Masters this morning. It's roughly Head high with some just over head and the commentators are calling it 4ft

Looking at our forecast........yikes. I hope that 5 m wave height predicted on Sunday is not from the back of the wave!!!! The energy 22,068 kJ is sick! Hope to get out tomorrow when it is a bit smaller.

Bob

What's wrong with you, ya pussy! What could possibly go wrong at a remote beach in 9C water with the occasional log in the line-up!

Yes what could go wrong...........got out this morning, south end of North Chesterman. Could watch the rollers breaking perhaps a kilometre out going into Cox Bay.........anyway caught a "shoulder high" wave and ended up with broken paddle. The energy when the wave closed out was impressive. Lucky it was just the paddle! More on topic the height of a wave is just one descriptor of it. As I gain experience my vocabulary is expanding..........yes and expletives included!
