V3 MAGIC BOARD
I asked Dave Kalama if I could have a go on his 19fter IMAGINE shaped by Dave Kalama & Mark Raaphorst. Jeremy Riggs has paddled it and gave it the thumbs up. What a board it’s so light, the bottom curve is just so perfect the glide was insane making it so easy to link all the bumps it was effortless. The magic V3 nose would just pierce the swell infront and just glide over multiple swells “Yes Please Mr Wizard” Standing on the tale of a 19ft SUP was bizarre, the day I paddled it I’d rate Maliko only a 6/10 it was bulk fun but not epic. I’d love to have the money to get a super-lite custom 18fter made with the V3 nose and with a Pintail.
The V1 Bullet is an epic board but the V3 nose on the Bullet is the ANTS PANTS when it comes to unlimited in epic Downwind conditions I think the V3 is so finally tuned it's the pinnacle in unlimited board design.
The fines have changed also for less drag from 9 inch to 7 5/8
I'll be paddling the V3 at M2O race
