Hi Everyone,
I've been looking around on the net trying to find info on any Aussie SUP races (or races that appear to have SUP's included) coming up over the next few months so I can sort out my weekend calendar, so I thought I could save you some time by putting together a list of what I've found and links to the websites where each race is listed. It's not exhaustive and focusses primarily on the east coast as that's where I'm based, but feel free to add more race events if you know of any.

I looked at the website but couldn't tell whether any of the Outlaw series of races involves SUP.

Go to the online series entry and you can select SUP as your craft.

The only race in the list that I couldn't see anything about SUP's for is the 20 Beaches Challenge, but I've heard rumours that SUP's will be included.

Before locking yourself into a travel plan, wait for the announcement of the RPS and SHQ races in Melbourne as well as SUP Bus' Australia Day for the Port Phillip Cup (I assume they will run this again), and SUP Vic may have an event or two in mind also. We would love to see you Canadians come down and show us how it's done.

A week-end on the sunshine at the end of the month and the purchase of something longer than my one and only 10'6... I'm not doing another race on that one!

the Far North Coast Canoe Club as a paddle which SUP's can do from Mullum to Brunswick on 29th August too.

Noel and I are also organising a paddle around Ballina Island on 28th November but more details will follow.

You may want to change the date of your Ballina Island paddle ,as it will clash with the Mambo in Merimbulla ,a lot of the NSW breeze crew will be there as it's there 30th year .....it's gonna be huge!!!!

Outstanding. Same format as last year? I mean, this year?

Pretty much same format but we'll throw in a few surprises too this year to mix it up!
Main race - 3km sprint
100 metre power sprint
50 metre team race (4 people)
And the famous Board and Pet race will be back again....

Not sure yet mate but we'll be catering for everyone so no-one misses out on the big prizes.

There will also be the 'Kirra Challenge' SUP Race as part of this year's Kirra Surf Stock Festival on Sunday 14th November.

This will be a BOP style event at Kirra Point, with both Elite and Amateur divisions.

Elite division will be up to 14ft with fixed rudder
Amateur division will be 12ft and under 'surf style' boards
