looking for a good design of a trolley so I can walk my whaler to the beach. Either buy or make but looking to keep the price down. Any suggestions ?

I've got a couple of these -

www.oceanearthstore.com/surf-accessories/single-sup-trolley/

They're about the cheapest ones I found and while they're not amazing over sand etc. they're not bad. Better than carrying a heavy SUP a long way, and given I paddle with my wife, it's a lot easier than me carrying 2 SUPs while she carries the paddles! Added to which, if you're short on storage space, they disassemble easily, and you can lock them up while you're out paddling using a flexible bike lock

Some 1" box and a few joiners. Wheels from the dump. Padding from barry bunnings. It's pipe insulation. Bits n pieces from around the house. Bike from the dump, just needed a new tube.
Carries 2 SUPs easy and my lads longboard (much to his delight).

Working on a small portable one SUP model for the car.
Due to the fact it's windy here 364 days a year I like to lay my boards flat.
