No surf, but a wonderful morning to go to the island.
Booties required for the soft footed
According to legend, someone once lived on the Island, and Sean Connery once camped here.
Some tragedy too, sadly.
Some small surf over the reef before we head home.

The stone walls are what is left of the late great surfer/explorer Peter Troy's house..
He had a lease for the island and lived there for years and finally the National Parks ended up with it.
I wish SUP was around when i was a kid growing up there as that paddle was never that fun on shortboards..
