Hi, I'm keen to get some feedback on the drop.
Having some success, however still unsure if I should still be paddling when the drop is there & the water is ripping under your board.
Appreciate your experience thanks.

Yup, be more mobile: at this point get back to perform the bottom turn.

Also, your paddle seems too long?

The worst case scenario is going straight down the wave face with your weight forward - so do the opposite. Especially on a longer, flatter board. With your weight back you can lift the nose (and if it starts to dive it may lift it back up), and if you can angle across the wave you increase the distance between the back of the board and the bottom of the wave - plus, as Colas said, you are ready for your bottom turn. And if you angle across the wave you can build up some nice speed.
