Due to the more optimal conditions on the Sunday the 4th, the Event Directors have decided to implement the 2 day window and move the main King of the Cut to Sunday. We have been watching the forecast over the past 4 days and the 3 weather models we use are now all forecasting the same conditions, so we feel comfortable in making this decision early to allow competitors to prepare.

The timing for the KotC will remain the same as it was originally published. Please note the Briefing for the main KotC is at Secret Harbour (not the start).

The 1/2 Cut timing for registration at Doodies Beach will move forward 1 hour for this Saturday.

Registration - 0930- 1100

Safety Briefing (At Doodies Beach) - 1130

Start (At Dawesville Cut) - 1230

The rule says
Pfd typeIII Australian standard - 150N buoyancy which is 33lbs buoyancy
My pfd is an american one
Type III and 35lbs buoyancy
Is is not australian certified but meets all the criteria
Can I use it?
