Thinking of doing a comp in 2025. State titles or cold water winter tassie classic. Training regime will include schooners at the pub and Bunnings sausage sandwiches. Thoughts?

if it's any help I hate competitions and also surfing in a wetsuit.

Best comp by far best crew to paddle with best accomadation cloxe to beach not so sure about wet suit boardies and booties seems the go

Pretty sure drinking beer while standing behind judge's table or in general viewing of comp vicinity while wearing comp t shirt counts as 'doing' a comp Actual surfing is optional.

Dear John, sorry to say the the winter Classic no longer runs, we have seen the light and now head north for the winter, however there's the Bicheno SUP Weekend at the beginning of March that you're welcome to join us, spring only needed that time of year

I don't think you could put a price on your mug

Just come down and freesurf then. But bring a wetty, its already starting to feel like theres a nip in the air. Let us know if you do, will get you in the water in a few locations if Huey is being kind.
