Pete Dorries

If you are looking for some CROSS-TRAINING activities for SUP organise a lesson to learn Outrigger Canoe paddling or Ocean Ski paddling

For those in Sydney who don't know Pete Dorries he has a wealth of paddling experience and trains some of the best paddlers in Australia who are based out of the creek at Currumbin. He is also a bloody quick paddler himself and recently beat Connor Baxter in a BOP event in the US.

No matter what level of paddler you are I can guarantee you will benefit from a few sessions with Pete.

Pete has booked out similar sessions he is running in Melbourne so we are very lucky to have him in Sydney for a month. I suggest you book early.

For those of us who will train with Pete - be prepared to hurt.

Yes you did Kieran and I have specifically requested to Pete that he gives you no more lessons. I got the same response that you would no doubt give OME.

Good news for those on the South Side. Pete will be working with the newly formed Botany Bay SUP Club. At this stage it looks like he'll be there the weekend of the 14th - 15th of December. No doubt the club will let members know soon.

There will be additional lessons and clinics run on the harbour so if you're interested ring Pete directly to book yourself in.

The Pete Dorries Melbourne Clinics were held over the weekend and were booked out completely. If you're in Sydney and want some expert advice get in quick and contact Sam at Wind Surf N Snow for the North Side Clinics and Pete directly for any other questions or bookings.

We do have him here for a while so we are lucky to have a few more options. The Narrabeen Lake venue will be perfect for all levels of paddler.

Spots are booking fast the sessions on the 7th and 8th of December. We have 3 groups on the saturday with the first booked solid and the others filling quick.
Sunday will coincide with the regular JPP time trials and will have 2 clinics after the TT starting at 9 am. Sunday will be a cracker as we plan to have plenty of demo boards on deck also to make the day even better.
Also keep in mind paddling better isn't just for racers. It can make a big difference to surfer and cruisers alike as better technique means less injuries and more reward for less effort. Good things for any paddler!
