Thanks Jeff, Lynda and all the crew at PSUP for an awesome weekend, well done for organising such a huge event so well!! We had a great time meeting new friends and fellow paddlers during our first race event and we'll definately be back next year. Massive thank you to Nick and Core Board Sports for your support and great gear.

Great venue and sunny conditions , well done to all who competed .

Sorry about that finish order guys. I took it from the finish print out on Saturday night.
A big thank you to Lynda, Jeff and the team. You went to an incredible amount of trouble to put the event on. We had a fantastic weekend. Great racing and wonderful to put a few faces to the names on Seabreeze. A bit odd to go all the way to Vic but still have the same duals with Mal that we have at home.
Just arived home. Only 11 hours this time but we did leave at 4am.
Thanks to Fanatic for the loan of the board...I have to put an order in now for one of each.

It is great for both Kristi and Jono and will keep the junior races interesting across the summer.
The Falcon certainly looked "well raced" last night.
A huge thank you to "Human Cartoon" for giving him a lift down to Blairgowie and to Jean for delivering him home again.Sounds like it was a very sucessful event for the SUP calender.

Everyone knew who was in the top 10 paddlers and roughly how that would turn out.

The real fun and entertainement was in the mate against mate or in some cases boy against girl rivalry going on.

Kristi and Jono always fight out the juniors and it becomes a game of cat and mouse much like the LJ Torana versus the GTHO Falcon Bathurst days of the 70s. The Falcon V8 would roar away on the straights and the little straight 6 Torana would catch it in the corners.

Yesterday Jono would be flying along downwind and get a lead followed by Kristi with a smaller frame who has the advantage into the long head wind stretches all in all they are pretty closely matched.

In the 6km they got close to the beach with seconds between them Kristi stumbled in the shore break tripped the the victory was Jono's. Beaming smiles all round follwed by next race is mine, a really healthy fun spirit.

In the 1k sprint Kristi cranked it up a notch in the headwind leg and won the race again only by a few seconds, still smiles all round a handshake and discusion about who's going to take the next race at the next event.

If like us you sat on the racing sidelines for a while remember there is always someone in your age / class that is in it for fun or racing at your level. Grab a demo board and give it a crack, but beware its very adictive.

Great effort Jeff and Linda in putting on what sounds like a great event.
Sorry I couldn't be there. I look forward to getting down there next year.

I have all sorts of unpublishable names for him, I believe in teaching him resiliency. That way when he gets sledged playing rugby he thinks it's pretty tame
Of course if it helps him go faster I am prepared to tatto a blue oval onto his forehead

Congrats to Ben on wining the JM, couldn't have gone to a nicer and more dedicated paddler. Only problem is he now needs now to take the evolutionary path lol.
