Hi Swanny great surfing .looks like the speed lives up to its name getting through the foam section through to the open face .what size you on?cheers calbs

Board size 8' 8" x 28 1/2 x 4 1/2 @ 123Lmy old board had trouble getting through the foam section, with the speed no problem

Fantastic! Nice surfing!

I am going to try with the camera on my paddle. Last time I tried I kept getting the leggie tangled, and it stopped me from using the paddle on the wave - but the perspective is excellent.

Enjoyed that! I don't surf thaT well, but I thought your vid really captures what it is like to surf the Speeed.
Also goes to show that you don't have to surf the Speeed right off the stomp pad. Seeing you do that tells me that I don't have to spend all my time trying to get my foot waay back on my board and I can relax a bit more and enjoy turns with a foot on the shoulder.

HB that is why I love the speed and the Sunova boards
you always try and get your foot on the back pad, and doesn't always work out
but it seems to work ok if you miss the sweet spot, they generate the speed you need
to let the board do most of the work through your turns

Good camera work, the paddle mount isn't easy. Is that a Session?
