I'm planning to go to Bali in November and wondering where to sup and stay. I was thinking east coast and Nusa Lembongan. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The Mercure in Sanur is in a great spot and very reasonably priced. Easy paddle out to baby reef in the Benoa harbour entrance or even over to the bottom end of the Sanur reef.

Joni at the Rip Curl School is right next door and they can arrange a boat out to Serangan etc.

we have stayed at Coconuts on Nusa Lembongan which is almost directly opposite the Playgrounds break. Haven't been there for a few years though so not sure on what the latest is there.

I e got a SUP mate who has 2 small resorts in Kuta Lombok and while I haven't been there yet, they look awesome and there are good breaks up that way too. Give me a buzz if you want details..

We just got back. See Eddie on the main beach of NL, he's got a small variety of locally mode boards he hires out. Hit and miss for size though. We stayed at NL island villas which was really nice. Sanur was too windy when we were there.
