Hi all,
Im new to the SUP thing and was looking for recommendations for SUP spots in Melbourne. I live by the bay in St Kilda and am looking for places around here and further out. Open to all water types.
Any help would be very much appreciated

i'm also keen to hear responses here! any preferences for people viz middle park / elwood / port melbourne, etc?

My favourite flatwater bayside paddling spots are:
Sandridge Beach in Port Melbourne which is right at the top of the bay between Princes Pier and Webb Dock (where the Yarra River feeds into the bay.
StKilda Harbour, north of StKilda Pier and south of The ZU (SUP, Kite and Windsurf store).

With the right wind every single beach on Port Phillip Bay is perfect for paddling all the way to Sorrento, do t go any further or you will get pulled through the heads by the tides!
