The 7th running of the annual Great Melbourne Paddle is on again this Sunday at Green Point Brighton.

This not to be missed event offers everything from social racing, relays, kids races, clinics and demo's.

For those coming from the south (the peninsula etc) I think there are roads closed on beach road from about Mordi so you will need to go via Nepean hwy then South road instead.. Can someone confirm this..

Yes, on Sunday there's a community triathlon thing, on Beach Rd between Mordialloc roundabout and Charman Rd. The timing for that is 6-11am (or 6-12? I breezed past the sign on way to school pickup this arvo)

Can't get there from the north, can't get there from the south... this is all sounding harder than the Normandy invasion.

Bugger can't make it I'm getting married again in the morning, maybe I can postpone until the week after?????? Lol
