Hi Guys
I am new to SUP, live on the Gold Coast and am finding it difficult to establish what races are coming up in SEQ. SUPSA's site says 'No events', Sunshine Coast's seems to be pretty active, SeaBreeze and SupRacer both have very little shown for SEQ or the Gold Coast. Being an ex kayaker, most events were listed on the Qld Canoeing calendar, but SUP's don't appear to have an up to date master calendar.
Can anyone help and point me in the right direction to see what's coming up?

Check out currumbin sup club they run a bunch of local races at different times of year. Up next i think is long distance Sup X.

Just look them up on Facebook and they will sort you out.

There is also SUSinc (Stand Up Surfers Incorporated), a SUP Surfing Club on the Goldy if you're after something other than flatwater. Check them out on FaceBook www.facebook.com/SUSinc-825779830864476/

I post most events on Face Book on the AUSUP site. Traci Kostalek has also set up a great link where she groups all of the events I post and more on one spreadsheet.

This should help, though it's only the major races.

Flat water classic is 7th of may. check out the facebook page or www.flatwaterclassic.com this race is held at Tallebudgera Creek. Great race with great people. hope we see you there.
