what's with the ads saying 'STOLEN'. Is it just a cheap technique to get attention? Do we really want that type of post on seabreeze buy/sell? e.g. A current SUP for sale begins:

*****STOLEN*****
Stolen last night from South Fremantle, Naish 11'6 board, yellow and wood with tribal design, deck pad, and in a green and white stripes board bag, Serial number # NA9STP1140804004.

Perhaps I'm old fashioned - but this is b******t

So what's the problem, sounds to me like he/she is just alerting potential buyers.

Interesting first post.

It got me puzzled too.

The only explanation is that the poster is actually the thief, who is mad that people are trying to ruin his business.

Bemused myself, whenever I go to the isolated spot out at the edge of the lake, I never worry about my SUP getting stolen, the car yes, my paddle, but the SUP weighs a ton, it would take three grown men to run with it any distance. its also very hard to carry.
If some bastard did steal it I would be pissed though.
