I am taking a trip in March up the East coast to Newcastle any SUP Surf spots I should visit on the way?

Literally waves from far south nsw to Newcastle. If you can't find one you are not looking.

and if you're coming from Vic, there are many amazing breaks in the far east of the state too,, well before you cross the border!
If you're pressed for time then study the maps and forecasts to work out which region to focus on, based on swell and wind direction.
Enjoy your trip through one of the best stretches of surf coast you'll find anywhere!
