Anyone had to deal with one of these for repairs ? starboard won't even reply ??

Yes ..... do repairs full time .....whats the issue (apart from disinterest from big companies)

Hi Mark , want to cut it in half and drag it from the canaries to Bali and rejoin my 12'6 generation lite tech . Thoughts ?

Easy. Use a nice long scarf join and dont cut it straight across

Yes its conventional construction. The glass is such cheap stuff you will improve it.
Cut it in a big vee so its a stronger rejoin
Take your time with sanding the big chamfer fir scarf joint though, that will be the deciding factor IMO as the skin is really pretty thin
