Another top day and I wasn't even able to surf!

Big shout out to Scotty for the BBQ too, gourmet salads, salsa, steak, chicken and calamari!!! These club comps are rivalling Merimbula, and that only happens once a year!!!!

Awesome day, great to see the new faces in the final - especially the two young guys who took me and Pete M out in the semi (Kai and James).

Simon (Jedi) was surperb as head judge (at least until he tried to rob me of my equal 5th with Casso in the paddle race)

Massive props to Scotty for the food - marinated beef, chicken and calamari with 2 diff salads - at a club comp, better than the pros get at the WCT events!!

Casso as always put on a great show

Goaty - I reckon you would have got Casso if you had taken your leg rope off before the sprint to the line.
And is it premature to say that there was a bit of a changing of the guard. 4 new faces in the final. Andy and Murray were standouts through the rounds and deserved their 1st and 3rd placings in the final.
Dan...incredible record. 5 x 2nds is amazing when you consider how difficult it is just to get through your first heat these days.
Just looked at pointscore on accounts.tidyhq.com/users/sign_in It is a 3 horse race between Goaty, Dan and Pete Morgan. 2 events to go - down the wire again I'd say!
