Looking forward to this.
Just one question though: I thought the "technical race" was the BOP.

If anyone is in need of an extra board or two during the event or if you're travelling from interstate and can't fit both your race and surf board on the racks or on your flight, SUP Hire Australia has boards available for hire on site at the Port Stephens Country Club, including 12'6 and 14'0 Falcons and ProWaves. www.suphireaustralia.com.au see you all there.

Looks like your in for northerly winds, so I am guessing Birubi might be on the cards?

If you can, could you give us a bit of notice about where Laird's meet, greet and surf will be? Still on Saturday?

It's happened every other year particularly along the flat section to the finish. . Maybe no drafting other than in your own class but it would be hard to police for sure. It's looking like a course race rather than a downwinder at the moment.
