Im looking into getting a soloshot3 and want to ask if anyone has ordered one and when are they likely to be delivered? Also any feed back from people that have the soloshot 2.

I pre-ordered one in early October last year for a bargain price. The original release date was for the US Spring 2016 (our Autumn) it has since been changed to late Summer. It's hard to predict a release date, but I'm thinking there will be another delay, if I had to guess I'm thinking around September'ish if we're lucky.

I was considering cancelling because of the delays, then they released a preview of the Optic 65 footage and zoom. Decided to keep my pre-order as it looks bloody good, and I'm in no real rush anyway.

I thought solo shot is a tracking device you can chuck any camera on top of ? It has an integrated camera?

Thats quite a wait time for you to get yours. The footage of the Optic65 is incredible, I think ill get that instead of my own camera now haha.
Gizzie the new Soloshot can take either your own camera or soloshot's own Optic25 or Optic65 cameras.

Gizzie, Soloshot 3 will have 2 different bases. The standard base which will use the Optic 25/65 cameras. And the soloshot Pro base which is a heavier duty version capable of using both Optic 26/65 and also large cameras like DSLR's.

I think that's indoor range. Outside range is up to 2000ft.

For those of you like me who 'foolishly' pre-ordered a SS3....listed below is a snip-bit of their official reply which I recently received:

'Since this whole process has many things up in the air, I am unable to give a ship-to-promise agreement. We mention in the terms and conditions that all shipping dates are our best estimates. I know it has taken way longer than expected, and that's the last thing we wanted for our customers! What I can tell you in confidence is that all preorders will be shipped by March of 2017, I anticipate Jan-Feb, however we do not want to over promise yet again, so to be safe, no later than March.'

Yep still waiting but I have the SS2 and that is okay. Bit of a hassle to set up with the waking around the beach. Looking forward to a simpler process.

Sheesh - I have not heard anything from them...

How do they manage to stay in business? Who would be ordering a SS2 when they have been promising the SS3 for so long?

It will be a great product...when it comes.

I sent them a direct email which they replied to shortly before I received their generic email a couple of days ago....at this rate March is worth the paper it's written on
