Two days of mask wearing in, and it has now become the purpose of avoiding a fine rather than any virus protection.
Version 1 and version 2 caused total fogging of the glasses - cold glass and warm breath there is no way around it.
Resorted to a chin mask this morning, pulled it up if people approached, but walking in fog after 10 seconds or so.
Attempt 3...

For the fog on the glasses, just take a 10cm metal wire (The plastic-covered solid 2mm copper electric cables are nice), and sew a gusset around the nose to insert it. You can then shape the wire to your nose, and voila! no fog!

Note that you can also add wire+gussets to shape the mouth portion into some "duck mouth". Keeping the cloth away from direct contact with your nostrils and mouth makes it much more comfortable and prevents the feeling of being choked.

To stop fogging, soak your glasses in soapy water them let them air dry. I used an ice cream container with a couple of squirts of hand soap and enough water to swoosh the glasses around in.

It works best if you don't polish them. You might get a bit of streaking. It's no worse than glasses normally get over the course of a day.

You can give a gentle polish with a microfibre cloth if you want. If you polish you might get little puffs of fogging but it will disappear almost immediately.

I've been doing this for my water sunglasses for years. It helps with shedding water.

Triple layered cotton made by my lovely wife, went for a 7km walk on a very cold morning and it kept my face warm but the elastic is from a paper mask do adjustment was needed. Fine if I am at a desk will need a walking version which is in production.

Every time I load a photo it is either upside down or sideways, bl--y software.
