Well its been 14 months and the body is just craving for more paddling time. So i need a second board. I currently ride a starboard avanti and enjoy the wideness at 36 inches and all that pontoon stability but could probably downsize as I am down 12 kg or so from when I bought it. I need a board I can access when in town but mainly for carting around I have decided to go inflatible. My surf skills are improving and I will get a blue planet or smk, sunova for that in february for my bday. I like longboard style. My avanti is good for my current skills. This board is going to be 90 percent sydney lakes, harbour, central coast and rivers. I would like to try the sup fishing too so :I was thinking either the imagine angler, or the red paddle co 10,8 ride.
Any suggestions. My avanti tracks the lake well with the fat rails and small fins it can track well on the flats, will the angler be too much of a slow beast for distance.
Planning on getting a real faster lake going/adventure board or donwinder in june/july august.
i also considered the naish one second hand although my weight is still 125kg.
Kind regards,
pump.

Hey pump
the naish ones paddle real good ..
i think they will handle your weight .
i was surprised how fast they paddled ...
ps,I don't like inflatables ..but they have some good points .
like fit in a boot ,light, can run into things .
have you thought of a 12 foot or 11.4 Quest .

I'm closer to 140kg and I have a 14' x 30 Fanatic Race Air and it would easily be the most versatile board I have by far. Pretty quick as a touring board and plenty of stability.
