Scotts Head 12 Km Ocean Ski, SUP 7km , BOP Race &Surfing
Scotts Head SLSC will be holding a 12 km ocean paddle race on Saturday 20th 1.30pm start and a BOP race Sunday 22nd 10am start and SUP surfing Friday 20th 1pm and Saturday 21st 8am


The Saturday race will be open to all paddle craft, standups, Ocean skis, surf skis etc.
Registration from noon, Saturday, racing to start at 1.30pm.

The Course will be dependent on conditions, 12km craft.7km for Sup
(race will be run in the river if conditions are too big)

Sunday we will have the BOP style race around the cans, 5 by 1km loops starting at 10am
The Course will be either out and back or M shape dependent on surf conditions.

Surfing starts 1pm Friday qualified judges all surfers get at least 2 surfs

Cost entries are $25 for each event or $60 for 3 events

Prizes $5 from each race you enter will go into prize pool, so the more entrants the more prize money
STAR BOARD will be donating prizes.along with random table prizes

Social Event: there will a BBQ and drinks after the surfing on Friday and meal after the paddle on Saturday at the surf club ( Saturday meal included in price) spectators $10 each) bar will be open and music in the arvo
The events are put on for fun and participation and to get surf paddlers to meet half way between Sydney and the Gold Coast
Scotts Head is a small coastal village of 700 people with a beachfront caravan park, shops, cafes and a point break popular with surfers from far and wide.

the Easter swell brought some sand on the point and theres some good banks down the beach

less tham a month to go for us to catch up and have a great time and tell a few lies

when you enter online you can choose the whole series 3 days or individual series race
if you choose Friday race that is the
surfing on Friday and Saturday.
for the Saturday LD race you need a pdf and Sunday races please bring a flouro vest ,if you dont have one
we have them for sale at $13 nice pink clubie ones but orange yellow bright green are all good.

Catch you at Scotts the banks down the beach are surfing well ,water temp is 22 and cyrstall clear at the moment

awesome- i'll be there with a whole trailer full of ECS boards. Carbons, bamboo, yoga boards along with the stealth racer. also maybe some short boards/mals.

can't wait should be a fun weekend!
