This Sunday sees the 2nd Round and last flat water Distance Paddle of Club Championships for the year.
It will be similar route to last time. Set by the one and only Mr Lacey. Around 8km's for most but a smaller distance for Club Novice Members. Starting and finishing at Winders Park (Currumbin Creek).
Start time is 9.00am at Winders Park for race followed by a free BBQ.

Damn I won't be able to make it either, hurt my neck over the last couple of days. Was really looking forward to trying to catch the front guy's. Have fun and hopefully the weather is great!
The change of course was great fun Lacey! Excellent training run.
The circuit In and out thru the surf with soft sand running and then sprint out around a marker (Lacey on his OC about 500m out). We did it few times around all the way back up the Creek to the finish line.

if i get the chance again, the marker would be around the corner south to elephant rock just to step it up a bit
