Final club surf round this Sunday for all members. This is your last chance to score big points to take you to the top of the leader ladder in the overall club championship. (Please don't ask who is on top at this stage as that is closely guarded secret known only to the President)

The quest is on to find a bank .... somewhere ...... that is contestable. Rego will start from 6.30 with first heat in the water by 7.00

Usual sausage sizzle etc after the event.

Actually, was thinking we might run straight through Little Marley down to Greenmount running over as many longboarders as we go.

Don't worry mac, its rarely under 2ft at greeny and you know how anything over 2ft keeps the sups away

We will wait until Saturday morning to make the call as there a couple of conflicting reports on wind direction and strenghth for Sunday morning. At the moment, we have eyes on a bank at Short Street at Bilinga (along the Golden Four Drive) and a few others along that stretch. A few to the north will pick up more of the southerly swell but depending on wind may or maynot be the go.

That bank has been really good, but has been getting very crowded.

The good news is we are going try something different tomorrow, no burnt snags or under cooked snags tomorrow. Instead heaps of bananas and apples, Powerades, Iced Coffee and Chocie Milks. Sorry Secret Agent, couldn't find any chilled Chai Tea.
We surfed Sea Street this morning and banks are great so should be some epics hacks being thrown around tomorrow

Yeah great pics Pete, thanks heaps for coming down and also Von Piros employees showing up for a few pics as well.
Quick wrap up, 14 punters showed up under threating grey skies to be greeted by 2 -3ft lefts and rights, two rounds of four heats went down and the level of surfing was highest this year.
Our newest member AC was on his 7'3 Naish and proceeded to clean up everything in his way, including other competitors in the final who were posing a real threat to him.
Big wraps to Jenno, Alicato, Sondrao for all coming along and mising it up with the fellas.
The Chai Drinking Preso will update later with official placings, if there were any.

I think you were on your way to a podium finish until you were taken out, but thats what you expect from an arrogant Naish rider!!
