Souwester - I hear ya mate.
I got clobbered a fortnight ago - snapped my paddle in two and blew my knee out. Lip came down and pushed the knee sideways.
It's not a rhomboid - but it kept me out of the water for a couple of weeks. Still sore to kneel and run
I went out yesterday for the first surf, was still sketchy but snagged some good ones.
It's funny, I was having a yarn to another bloke out in the water and was saying the same thing - I reckon I was a miserable prick for two weeks eh! Kicked the dog and listened to Metallica

- missing out on waves definitely takes its toll!
Hang in there cobber - my thinking is just get that shoulder/rhomboid right I reckon - the last thing you want to do is rush it, completely blow it out and spend a couple of months out.
Have a beer, crank some tunes, put a surf vid on and have a laugh - you'll be back in the water before you know it!
