It was the first larger swell we have had for a while in Christchurch but everyone knew about it. Around 80 surfers out mid morning including 10 or so SUPs. Very busy and not as good as it looks in the pics unfortunately. The guys on bigger boards 10'+ were owning it!

Hey cameron, its in Christchurch New Zealand. The most popular surfing beach around there parts due to the Longboard/SUP friendly waves.

WOW! I've never seen Sumner bigger than about 2 foot. Sweet! Looks a bit busy though
