Despite having left my car with boards attached at almost every dodgy hospital around Perth for over the last few years appears mid morning on a weekday was too tempting a time for someone to take a hacksaw or angle grinder to my Lockracks and pinch my board from a Fiona Stanley carpark today between 0720 and 1530.

Board
-10ft, 29inch - Style lord shape.
-Matte black upper deck with black deck pad, Hexa traction covering front of the board. Anti-shark pattern on bottom.
-Had a black calf leggy and 10inch FCS II white blue fin when stolen.
-Pretty damn distinctive.

If you see if for sale please let me know on 0431692626 or the police quoting 251018153586495. Generous reward if I get it back.

Hospital security are checking cameras but despite having robots to deliver food theres only 3 cameras in the hospitals main carpark...go figure.

Pics of happier times. And proof I didn't just drive off and leave it at the beach...which I've been known todo.

And yes I'm checking FB/Gumtree/every car with a board on the roof. Blood hate thieves

Bloody rough mate, i hope you have extras insurance that should soften the blow...
Will revert if it ends up south - as long as i get usage rights before you pick it up...
Cheers

I suppose your thief figured that you spend your life helping other people (when they're not well), so you won't mind helping out one more
By the look of those racks he's not physically unwell though. Just mentally

Battery powered angle grinders are thieving arseholes best friend. Local motorcycle shop has been broken into 6 times this year, slowly sending him broke.

That's not an angle grinder or hacksaw cut. Looks like the prick has bent the hell out of it
Hope it turns up. I'll keep an eye out around Margs.

Got a phone call today from the police in Rockingham saying they've found it......in someone's car...

Yet to be seen what kind of nick it's in. Detective was pessimistic about even charging the bloke unless they find him on CCTV.....at least I'll get the board back.

Cheers for keeping your eyes peeled eveyone!

Interesting that police won't charge him. I would have thought that 'the smoking gun' was your board in his car. Perhaps the board just happened to fall off your car, when the racks mysteriously malfunctioned, and by some fluke ended up in his car. Given the camo paint job I can understand that he just didn't notice the board there at all. Thieving bastards.

I wondered the same! Receipt of stolen goods. Being in possession of goods that are stolen is an offense. There is an onus on the buyer to take reasonable steps to ensure that what they are looking at ain't hot!
Stoked you've got your board back.
