Here is a rough schedule of the activities for the day (times may change depending on numbers of competitors):

- 7:30 am - Setup, competition entries accepted
- 8:00 am - Cut off for surfing competition entries, heats drawn up for surfing competition
- 8:20 am - Round one of surfing competition starts
- 10:30 am - Round two of surfing competition starts
- 11:30 am - Final of surfing competition starts
- 12:00 pm - Women and junior divisions paddle race starts
- 12:30 pm - Open division paddle race starts
- 1:00 pm - Presentation

Membership registration and fee payment for the new season will be available all day. New members should pre-register using the online form to save paperwork on the day.

Free food and drinks will be available around lunch time (financial members only).

Hope you can make it.

Dates and locations of the other events for the 2011-2012 season are (mostly the second Sunday of every second month):

- Event #4 : 12 February 2012 (Palm Beach)
- Event #5 : 8 April 2012 (Long Reef)
- Event #6 : 17 June 2012 (Palm Beach)

Yep, lovely winter weather for sure, even some waves!

I will be coming along with Robbie. Forecast was looking awesome with nor westers, now saying light s/sw, so should still be fun.

I should be able to make it, does look like pretty nice conditions. Little swell hopefully too.

Well that was a great day! Perfect weather, and waves.

Thanks to all that came and made it such a good event, thanks to all who judged, thanks to the head chef for the awesome food, and thanks for Casso who pretty well ran the whole thing due to not being able to surf himself.

Yeah, brilliant comp as always, thanks to the great efforts of a few hardcore club members. Especially Casso with one wing, how good were the races - 8 or so kids!

Well said Goaty, thanks to all the crew who made it such a cool day. Fun waves too. Jesse loved the race...frothing....I will have to make up for my lack of judging on Sun...had to keep an eye on the grom.. Well done Goaty, you and Kai were ripping.

Yes was a wickedly fun day as always that's to everyone for the great vibes and happy faces ... How good was the feed gotta love it!! An the stingray struart in the flat water race was great to cheer for the old boy!!

Dan I think I heard you cheering ??? Go Struart Go ... thanks mate... That stingray and some training and luck had me over the line first. Any day I can beat Superman Steve is a buzz !!! Cheers everyone for the good vibe day.
