The final SHQ event for the season is scheduled for this Sunday morning at Sandringham Beach. Mike and the crew are planning a social paddle down to the Cerberus and back, but for those competitive types, I'm sure there will be the opportunity for an unofficial race. At this stage the weather is suggesting a shower or two with a top of 21, along with west to northwesterly winds up to 30 km/h. That shouldn't present too much of a problem, but if it blows up on the morning, the organisers have hinted they might shift the course down to the marina side out front of the SHQ cafe. So come on down for a 10am start; maybe get there a little earlier in case we need to relocate.
