Has anyone SUPPED the breaks around Rote Island near Timor.
I have a friend sailing around the world who is happy to hang around surf spots in the Timor/ Roti / Sumba area for a few months.
Has anyone sailed in that area and if so, can you recommend any anchorages that have surf spots fairly close bye.
Ill take a surfboard and a SUP and possibly even a foil.
Im an intermediate Sup surfer and but my brother is a once a year SUPPER on a Starboard pocket rocket.
Are the waves pretty challenging or can one find lesser waves.
Has anyone foiled in the area??
Any advice would be great.
