I reckon Taj will end up on Mayhem shaped Firewires. Biolis is on the Firewire program. He buckled 3 boards in that event. I have seen how much work goes into getting 1 magic board for a guy like him. So he's already snapped 1 favourite and 2 back ups. Do you reckon he will tire of getting 20 x 5'11's sorting through them to find one that feels exactly the same as the other or will he just get Matt to shape him 1 Firewire and feel confident that it will last??

Not really a major Firewire fan either but when you make PU's with super light foam and glassed so light as to be a weight he likes they have no chance of survival. I'm tipping he blends Matts shapes with the durability and weight he is used to.

I think mayhem pu and non firewire. That's my opinion cause he looked good. Taj can break 10 Pu next contest....hehe

I took a look at a bunch of Owen Wrights boards, glassed very heavy. Heavier than shop boards as he wants the ones he likes to stay together. Mick and Steph use special glassing techniques to keep there boards together as well.

While money or board supply won't be an issue if Taj keeps going through boards like that he will eventually get to an event without a favorite board, that will be a big problem. He might have 30 to choose from but none he feels the extra bit of confidence to knock over Kelly, Jordy or Joel. Remember in this event he has had 3 months to find boards he loves, he never has that much time again.

From what I have been told Taj is a light weight freak unless they can come up with a way to make his boards last it could be an issue for his campaign.

Just read tracks mag online and looks like Taj is getting more mayhems for Bell's. Hope he wins again...hehe

+1. I always thought that he would be the man to unseat KS. Like KS he just knows what do to get max points without looking like he's in a competition. It seems to have taken a long time. Maybe helping him is almost being an in law of Kelly's - is that right? Taj and Kelly are going out with sisters?


* No disrespect to meant to any of the other 30 guys that could easily win the World crown with a bit of luck-just my personal opinion.
