We've had the power paddle trainer, the Kayakpro ergometer and now the Quickblade Flume!

It would look less gay if they had shirts on.

Interesting idea, you could probably do this at home with an old coffee table and a toddler pool from K-Mart.

You'd have to wait until the swirly water slowed down before changing sides and turning the motor around, else you'd probably tear your shoulder out paddling against the flow and/or bugger the minn kota.

try do that in canberra in winter and you would need to put a water heater into it to break down the surface ice. I like the paddling machine rower thing that D Ching advertises. I reckon that is the go.

What if they attached some sort of generator to it so that it powered the facility and then they can market as the "green paddler".

Agreed, I just dont get it. That doesnt look like fun at all..

Im no top racer so i guess ill never get it, but then again im pretty sure Conner Baxter doesnt use this and all the good paddlers from the east coast seem to have no problem just getting up in the morning and training like a normal person would..

I think it really is tongue in cheek, but worth a look as these guys have probably perfect paddle technique.
