I am new on the forum. I am an intermediate surfer on 8' JL Superfrank
My board works well with a quad setup in our smaller US East Coast beachbreaks and I use the standard JL fins it came with.
I also have a pair of C-drive small side fins that I want to use in a quad setup. my question is can I mix the c drives with other small trailers in quad setup or better to have 4 cdrives?

C Drive only in front can work quite well, as C-Drive in the rear can stiffen the board too much for your taste.

When I was using C-Drive, I only used the smallest one possible (the "grommet" size) in the rear, otherwise it was too stiff.
