Hi folks, I'm hoping to bring a 10'+ board back from LA on a QANTAS flight but their website says the cutoff is 9'2" for checked luggage sporting goods and I have to pay them to freight it back on a separate flight. Does anyone have experience with the LAX check in and do that get pedantic with measurements? I don't want this costing me more than the board is worth.
