Looking good for this Sunday for our regular run. We will start at the South end of the Port Beach carpark ( just South of Salt Restaurant), in the water by 1600. Finish will be at the carpark next to the Swannie SLC.
Let us know if you need a lift to Port, as a few crew will be at Swannie to do the car pool, board cart thing. Be at Swannie at 1520 for the load up.
I will have a few spare 12'6" DW boards if anyone wants to try one - first in best dressed !

Legropes a must, PFD's and flares highly recommended, but at paddlers' discretion.

I missed out last week but this weeks conditions are looking better, it is going to be warm though - 35c

so hopefully it does not trough out

did it on a round nose last time C Stix so it would be great to try it on a pointy one !

No probs NaDi, the other 12'6" is yours for the run. If you meet at Swannie at 1520 to get a ride to Port, I'll have the boards at Port already.

ChickenStix - thank you very much for perfect organisation and for lending me your 12'6" SUP ! It was definitely as you said - a very stable and fast... and considering my limited ability to catch runners the board was helping me in my effort really nicely !

Thank you all for a very enjoyable afternoon and it was great to see Sal, Kylie and Ann joining the DWers again :-)

Great run yesterday, 17 starters ( and finishers ), from newbie to world class ( no, not you Rog). Great to see some new faces every week, and the group of girls are really starting to take it to some of the more experienced fella's. Could see some fireworks over the next month or so!!
Wind was 14-18 kn from the South, with some good runners to be had all along the 8 k paddle.
Big thank you to NaDi for the ICE cold refreshments - way to go !!

Hey Bulldog, it was great to have you here for a few runs, and anytime you're coming West just let us know and we should be able to get a board for you.

There's a State surfing round on next w/e, but Stimo and I will be around ( and a lot of others) so keep an eye out for a posting later in the week, if conditions are looking the goods.

Thanks Lach for organising the board, hanging at the back with me and offering those paddling tips. All the effort to get us all paddling is amazing and really valued from my end. Cheers. Kylie
