Got out for a small one Brighton YC to Hampton SLC. Saw what I think was DJ and crew in cars heading up beach rd towards St Kilda around 1pm for their run just after I'd finished. Saw a group off Sandy beach later on - did you guys do an extended run?

Thought the wind had a bit of E in it (20 deg?) making it a bit more challenging than normal - did anyone else find this? Wonder if there is a source that shows wind angle rather than N, NNE etc.

There was a separate group to DJ. Thete were 10 of us that did an Elwood to Mentone run of 17kms. Could have been us driving up there about 1pm. Good fun but plenty of paddling involved and a bit too much east especially further down the run. Nasty headwind from ricketts to mentone slc

Wow, nice long run. Glad to hear that I wasn't the only one paddling more than usual to counter the offshore component...
